Celebrate the Pegasus Project!
Join us at the Berkeley Yacht Club on November 21 for an evening in celebration of the Pegasus Project and sailing in San Francisco Bay.
After 15 years taking more than 7,000 youth onto San Francisco Bay for marine education and life-skills training, the Pegasus Project is hosting its first-ever fundraising celebration.
We invite you to support our youth program by attending this very special event at the Berkeley Yacht Club. It will include dinner, live entertainment, a raffle, and a silent auction.
In addition to dinner, music, and updates on the Pegasus Project's "No Child Left Ashore" initiatives, entertainment includes:
- Pegasus crew member Rod Witel presenting "Hot Spots for Cruising in San Francisco Bay." A pilot as well as an accomplished sailor, he will share practical advice, aerial photos, and inspiration for where to go and what to see at guest docks and mooring balls dotted around the Bay from San Francisco to the Delta.
- Special performance by the Shanty Singers, a local youth group singing sea shanties.
- A dockside tour of the Pegasus for your family, your friends, and you!
Silent Auction! Raffle! Great prizes to be had, including:
- Celebrity sail with Dawn Riley, Pioneering CEO and Captain of America True, popular international motivational speaker and coach, and one of the world's top sailors
- Yoga voyage aboard Pegasus
- Vessel-maintenance packages
- Boat safety gear!
Tickets will be $15 for BYC members and pre-sale, and $25 at the door. They will be available beginning Oct. 21. Be sure to book early — we expect a good turnout. BYC is donating the proceeds from dinner to Pegasus. Thank you BYC!
